SUSTAINABLE DRINKING FOR A BETTER LIFE

Since the inception of TAP. wines in 2014, we have been committed in making our business as sustainable as possible. We wanted to bring you premium wines with an environmental approach. It was all about making you feel great when partnering up with us, on a taste and environmental level. With our dedication and commitment, we reduce landfill by 14 kilos with every wine cylinder consumed. To date, we are proud to say that we have eliminated over 250000 bottles going into landfill. Our dedicated empty returns scheme ensures we recycle all our mono use kegs correctly and our state of the art reusable TAP. wine cylinders get refilled 3-4 times per year

As time went on we launched the TAP. Carbon Project, a project for the environment that we live in. We wanted to give back and create something really special - From July 2019, together with 15 Trees and community tree planting projects, we are planting thousands of trees around Victoria.

Carbon Project 2 - Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation (Currently Planting)

We are very excited to launched our second Carbon Project in conjunctions with our dear friends at 15 Trees and our newest friends, Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation. We decided to go with MPKC because of their main goal , which is to create a koala wildlife corridor connecting existing sections of koala habitat and food trees on the Mornington Peninsula. This involves planting in the existing koala corridors, thereby encouraging koalas out of urban areas and away from the many threats they face.

Carbon Project 1 - Koala Clancy Foundation (100% Planted)

Koala Clancy Foundation plants trees for koalas on farms and private land, creates new habitat and advocates for better protection of wild koalas. On the 1st August, 2020 we completed the tree planting in the the steep gully of the Brisbane Rangers, near Melbourne. It took 3 days due to COVID-19 restrictions, but these 1200 baby Manna Gum, Bundy, Red Box and Narrow-leaves peppermints, Silver & Black Wattles and Black Sheoak, Hazel Pomaderris & River Bottlebrush now have their roots in damp black soil. They will settle in for a bit, then as Spring brings warmth they will grow. Trees like these don’t just feed Koalas, they are lungs of our planet and our soldiers in the fight against climate change. A huge thank you to 15 Trees and Koala Clancy Foundation for making this possible. Thank you to all our TAP. partners for your support. We at TAP. will continue to make the TAP. Carbon Project our commitment for years to come.
