VINCENZO VERNOCCHI - CANTINA BRASCHI
In Autumn Vincenzo’s uncle Ezio and grandfather Alberto used to buy red grapes (mostly Sangiovese and Barbera) from wineries in the surrounding hills of Cesena in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It was the best introduction to wine anyone could have.
He attended The University of Bologna where he studied, Viticulture and Oenology Science. A place where he and his friends became more passionate for Italian wines. In 2004, he graduated and become an oenologist.
Vincenzo became more and more involved in the Italian wine industry, becoming co-owner of CANTINA BRASCHI 1949. In the last 10 years he has been involved with a number of national and international wineries showcasing his passion, winemaking style and his love of Italian wines.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO WORK WITH TAP.?
I did it because Andrew’s vision (TAP. wines founder). I strongly believe in the idea that premium quality wines must be accessible for all, in order to increase the wine culture of the drinker.
